fn internal marketing, the Government recalls in its manifesto that threo years ago it promised a fair deal to both producer and consumer. The results so far are stated to have been a better ivturn to producers and cheaper prices l'» the consumers than would otherwise liuvo existed.
"The supply of apples, orange* and bananas during the last year, with better quality, lower prices and more fruit, is the result of Government supervision, is one of the claims made.
The Government declare* its intention to continue the supervision and regulation so that the consumer is wey served sind the producer well paid, and the fun' - ily grocer is not harmed by unjust trade practices.
Among the other commodities now •-■•n trolled are butter, cheese, wheat, ii jiicv. onions, barley and tobacco.
