Mr. W. A. Turner returned from a visit to Wellington by train this morning. Mr. M. C. McCoy returned by the early express after a visit to Wellington. Mr. V. R. Meredith returned to Auckland by the Limited express from Wellington this morning. The Hon. T. Bloodworth. M.L.C.. was a passenper for Auckland by the Limited express this morning. Sir Walter Stringer, clialrman of the War Pensions Appeal Board, left for the south by air tlii> morning. Mr. K. C;. Begg. of Wellington, who has been visiting Auckland, will return south by the Limited express this evening. Mr. Stanley S. Scott and Mr. G. A. Gentles returned to Auckland by train this morning, after a business tour of the North Island. Mr. G. F. Dixon, private secretary to the Attorney -General and Minister ofJustice, the Hon. H. G. R. Mason. has left for Wellington. Mr. Justice Kennedy, lia« been attending a sitting of the I'i.urt of Appeal in Wellington, returned to Auckland by train this morning. Sipiadron-Leader X. S. Professor Alexander Findlay. professor of physical chemistry at the University of Aberdeen, and external examiner in

chemistry for the University if NewZealand, who has been spending about a month lecturing in the Dominion, was a passenger to Auckland by the Limited express this morning. He will leave for Australia 011 Monday, and while there will deliver the Liversidge lecture.
