FRACTURED SKULL.
L J. ELUI INJURED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) GERALDINE, this day. As the result of liis mount, Royal Refrain, falling j"«t after passing the post in the Ohapi Handicap at Geraldine yesterday, L. J. Ellis received injuries to his head. Ellis was taken to hospital, and an X-ray examination revealed that his skull was fractured. This morning he was making good progress.
