PROMISES FULFILLED.
MINES MINISTER'S CLAIM.
(By Teleyoaph.—Press Association.)
REEFTOX, this day
The Minister of Mines, the Hon. P. C. Webb, arrived at Reefton yesterday and opened the newly-erected Plunket rooms. He received deputations and was entertained at dinner in the evening. Later he addressed the electors, about 250 being present. He traversed the Labour party's legislation, claiming that it had carried out all that was promised on the hustings, and it had furthered the legislation commenced by Mr. Seddon.
A vote of thanks to the speaker and confidence in the Labour Government was passed. The Minister left for Motueka this morning.
