DOMINION'S DEFENCE.
CO-OPERATE WITH EMPIRE.

WELLINGTON, this day.
"The organisation and co-ordination of the Army, Navy and Air Forces will be developed to ensure the most effective defence of the Dominion," says the Prime Minister, in referring briefly to New Zealand's armaments.
At the same time, he states, the Government, in its belief in collective security, will continue its support of the principles contained in the Covenant of the League of Nations. Maximum provision will be made for the defence of the Dominion, together with cooperation to the fullest extent with the United Kingdom and other members of the British Commonwealth to maintain the Empire's existence and aeswt in its protection.
