MATUA SAILING. RANGITANE FOR LONDON. NAPIER • STAB BERTHED. MAUNGANUI FROM SYDSTEY. The Union Company's motor vessel Matua Bails at 3 p.m. to-day for Nukualofa, Apia and Suva with passengers and cargo. She is due back on October 5. The New Zealand Shipping Company's motor ship Rangitane will sail at 7 a.m. to-morrow for London, via Panama. She is at the Central wharf and has 72 passengers booked, also a large cargo, loaded at main ports, and is due at London on October 20. The Blue Star I Line steamer Napier Star arrived from j Gisborne at 10 o'clock last night and i berthed this morning at Queen's wharf for final loading. She is due to sail next Tuesday for London, via Panama. The Union Company's liner Mauuganui, which left Sydney at 11 p.m. on Tuesday, will arrive here early on Saturday morning. She will sail on her return to Sydney at 3 p.m. next Monday. Matai sailed at 8 p.m. yesterday for her ueual inspection of Cape Brett and Maria lightfi. After landing a cable at Cape Maria for passenger use to the mainland, she goes to Wellington. (Marine Dept.) Simnia, the motor tanker which arrived on Monday from Balik Papan. left this morning for Xew Plymouth to complete discharge. (Shell Co.) Ruahine is loading at Queen's wharf for London and West Coast ports. She will leave on Saturday for Wellington to complete. (N.Z.S. Co.) Mariposa is due on Friday week from San Francisco via ports. She will arrive at 7 a.m. and sail at 5 p.m. for Sydney and Melbourne.
