MJE. MAX'S COMMISSION. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) GISBORNK, this day. Mr. Lan Blair, of Barah estates, BaraChakia, India, has received a commission in the Indian Army Reserve and will be appointed to the cavalry regiment. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James Blair, of Gisborne, and is to be S" toed soon by his sister, Miss Jocehyn lair, who leaves by the Narbadi from Dunedin for Calcutta en route to BaraChakia.
