The One Tree Hill Borough Council met p last evening, the Mayor, Mr. I. J. Gold- < stine, presiding. 5 Tram Siding at Green Lane.—Advice i was received from the enzineer-in-ch:ef of the Public Works Department s.-.tiag that he had called for a full report on the proposal to construct a tramway siding in Green Lane Road, and on receipt- of the report careful consideration would be given to the matte:-. Massey Avenue Reserve.-- The foreman was instructed to proceed with the levelling of the reserve and the -<!ovision of necessary access from Massey Avenue. The council has still .to decide in what manner and for what purposes the rescue will be developed. Street Lighting.—The Auckland Electric Power Board advised thai as a revision of street lighting charges the council would be given a reduction for the year of £7 18'.
