HOSPITAL AUXILIARY.

ELECTION OF OFFICERS.

At the annual meeting of the Auckland Hospital Auxiliary held Yesterday the formation of two new committees was reported, one at the Wilson Home for Crippled Children, and the other to take care of tuberculosis natients. The past president, Mrs. Alfred Kidd, presided at tlie meet in?.

lhere was an exceptionally la><»e attendance of members, and also* present were Mrs. A. D. Campbell, the president «f the auxiliary. Dr. J. W. Craven, medical superintendent of the Auckland Hospital, and Mr. E. H. Porter, a member of the Auckland Hospital Board Bouquets were presented to Mrs. Alfred Kidd, Mrs. A. D. Campbell, Mrs. Allan Moody, Mrs. Craven and Miss E. M. Nutsey, the lady superintendent of the Auckland Hospital.

In moving the adoption of the report and balance-sheet, Mr. Potter expressed the hope that the Government would continue its grant to the auxiliary from the art union fund, and he also expressed the hope that nothing in the present legislation would interfere with the auxiliary other than by assisting it.

On behalf of the hospital staff Dr. J. W. Craven expressed thanks to the auxiliary for their excellent year's work.

Campbell; secretary. Miss L. Cur3on; associate members, Mrs. A. H. G. Webster, Major A. Gordon, Dr. Buckley Tnrkington, Dr. Gladys Montgomery, Dr. Elaine Gurr, Adjutant Hart, Miss E. M. Nutsey and Miss A. Rudd.
