Lord Gowrie, who arrived at Auckland on Monday, visited the Auckland War Memorial * Museum yesterday, and was shown over the building by the director, Mr. Gilbert Arehey. His Excellency was greatly impressed with the institution, and the wide ranjje of exhibits. Lord (Joivrie was a j>;< -senzer by the Xia:rara evening \-<\- Sydney* and Viscount Gahvay returned by the Limited express to Wellington.
