Thorn, who recently inspected the flood and tidal damage on the Coast Road between Thames an<f Tapu. that fS.">OO hail been placed on this year's hiphway estimates to enable repairs to protect the foreshore. . Work has already boon commenced. Two laijre tractors have boen transferred to this highway for shifting the larpe amount of slip material "and these machines were able to remove in U hours n larpe slip which normally would have blocked the road for at 'least a day.
