For the third successive day raiu has held up the semi-finale of the United States lawn tenuis single championships at Forest Hilk. Mise Nancy Wynne (Australia) hae qualified for the women's final, where ehe will meet the winner of the match between the American, Mrs. S. P. Fabyan and Mi*> Alice Marble. It is anticipated that J. E. Bromwich (Australia) and J. D. Budge (U.S.A.) will fight out the men's event.
