JUNIOR MANAGEMENT. The meeting of the junior management committee of the Auckland Rugby League met last evening, with Mr. E. Chapman presiding in the absence of Mr. 1). Wilkie. Considerable business was followed by a welcome to Mr. Les Steel, an ex-State representative wing three-quarter, who ie one of the eelectore of the Eastern Suburbs side. Tn reply to a request for the right to take part in a curtaiu-raiser to the Eastern Suburbs matches, it was decided to advise Huntly District High School Club that this matter was under consideration. Owing to Ponsonby sifth grade team playing a member four days over age. the match against Avondalo was allowed to the latter team, but it has no bearing on the knockout. Knockout winners were announced as follows:--Senior B, Ellerslie; sixth grade, Richmond. Permission was granted Otahuhu fourth and sixth grades to play at Hikuranei; Green Lane fifths to play at Hamilton, and Manukau fourth and seventh grade teams to play at Onetangi. It was announced that Kensington third grade would play Avondale on October 1.
