INDOOR BOWLING.
EDEN-ROSKILL CLUB.
PRESENTATION OP PRIZES.
There was a large attendance at the Eden-Roskill Returned Soldiere' Bowling Club's annual dance and presentation of prizes in their hall, Dominion Road, last evening. Artistic decorations were made to the hall, flags, balloons and greenery being used, making a pleaeing ensemble. The floor was in excellent condition, and the music for the dances was of tirst-claes quality. Mrs. Parry and Mr. Honeycombe rendered several vocal solos during the evening, and were heartily applauded.
The Mayor of Mount Eden, Mr. Mills, and Mrs. Mills, were present, the former presenting the prizes to the euccessful players, a* follows:—Champion singles, W. H. O'Brien; runner-up, D. Barrie; (trophy by A. Johns). , Champion pairs, F. Roe'kland. G. Dilly (skip). Champion fours, A. Howarth, W. E. Clareburt, G. Greenwood. R. Phillips (skip). Handicap singles, J. X. Lewis. Percentage fours (Emoluen Shield). H. Wright. H. Burns. .T. X. Lewis. C. Caradne Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Clareburt'a Trophy for most consistent skip. G. Dilly. Champion drawn fours (Astor Cuph «T. C. Yeo, F. Rockland. R. Honeycombe (skip). Club trophy, gold onp winner, IT. F. Walby. Maiden singles (Johnston Cup). H. Marson. Maiden fours, J. T. Dodd«. A. Curry, H. F. Walby, C. Caradue (ekip). Father and son pairs tourney, one guinea prize by Mr. R. Bhong, L. Noakes and son; W; Kneehone and son, runnersup. eash prize by Mr. A. C. Pearoe.
Presentations were also made to Mr. L. Mann the secretary, and to Messrs. Walsh and Abraham, in appreciation of services rendered during the year.
