WEATHER FORECAST.
FOR CITY ANT> PROVINCE. The Government Meteorologist Issued to the " Auckland Star" this afternoon the following special weather forecast for the Auckland province to as far south •• Hamilton, Tauranca and Kawhia:— Light to moderate winds between north and west. Weather mainly fair to cloudy, but occasional rain probable in most places. Temperatures moderate. Sea slight to moderate. Pressure is uniform and rather high over New Zealand, while a shallow depression is located west of Cook Strait. HAURAKI GULF CONDITIONS. The following report of weather conditions in the Hauraki Gulf was received from Tiritiri Island at noon to-day:— Wind, south-west, light; sea, smooth; weather, cloudy, but fine; visibility, good; barometer, steady.
