LABOUR CANDIDATES.
TWO OPKN CAMPAIGNS.

DUNEDIN, Tuesday,
The election campaign was opened in Dunedin to-night, when addresses were given by Mr. P. Neilson, Labour candidate for Dunedin Central, and Mr. J. W. Munro, Labour candidate for Dunedin North.
Mr. Neileon addressed a Urge audience at Musselburgh and va* well received. He emphatically denied that the Government had any intention of abolishing the system of inheritance, as had been indicated in a review published in the north, of Mr. J. A. Lee's new book, "Socialism in New Zealand." A vote of thanks and confidence was carried. Mr. Munro's address was in the George Street Hall, which was comfortably filled. The candidate wa* subjected to no interruption*, and was frequently applauded. He devoted the greater part of his address to criticism of the National party's policy. A vote of thanks and confidence was carried and the candidate was accorded three cheers at the close of his address.
