(By Telegraph.—Press Association.)

WELLIXGTON, Monday

Struck by a flying tackle which Dean Detton launched at his opponent, Lofty Blonifield. Mr. A. T. Jenkins, referee of a wrestling match in the Town Hall to-night wae thrown into the lap of a epeetator in the second row of seats. He was badly winded.

The wrestlers continued the bout, but, as according to the rules, a contest cannot be carried on without a referee, there was no course to pursue but to declare no decision. At the time of this incident in the last round the wrestlers had each taken a fall.

Mr. Jenkins, a physical culture expert, soon recovered from his unhappy experience.

FRALEY UNABLE TO CONTINUE.

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) XEW PLYMOUTH, Monday. With one fall each a wrestling bout between Blomh'eld, 16.5, and Fraley, 16.0, terminated suddenly on Saturday, when traley, attempting a dropkick, landed on Blomfield's hip and fell with his wrist doubled beneath him. He climbed from the ring pain, making it obvious that the referee s count was unnecessary to decide his inability to continue. Blomfield gained the first fall in the third round with a complicated jack-knife hold and rraley equalised in the fifth with a submission fall with a flying toehold after shoulder butts.
