ST. ANDREW'S SOCIETY.
NEW LYNN INGLESIDE. St. Andrew's Society. Xew Lynn, held their ingleside in St. Andrew's Hall. Xew Lynn, on Saturday. The chief, Mr. W. Kay, was piped in with the usual honours by Piprr .T. Robertson. After the singing of tfie National Anthem the dramatic section of the society presented a one act comedy entitled "Ka*;v-Oa«y," the following members taking part:— Mrs. A. Reid, Mrs. D. Campbell. Mrs. V. Spenee, Mr. D. Duncan and Mr. P. Spence.. Mrs. W. Kay presented the ladies with bouquets and boxes of chocolate. The proceeds from this ingleside go to help in the restoration of the Burne mausoleum. Dancing was enjoyed to music supplied by Messrs. Allen and Jack, the duties of master of ceremonies being carried out by Chieftain D. Campbell"! In an interval during the dance elocutionary items were given by Mrs J Shield*.
