FESTIVAL DANCE.
ST. BARNABAS FUNCTION. The annual festival dance of the St. Barnabas Church, was held in the Parish Hall, Bellevue Road, Mount Eden. Lilies and green ferns added the final touch to a gay scheme of decoration. Excellent modern and old 1 -time music was rendered by members of the Parish Social Club. The host and hostess for the evening were Rev. G. R. Monteith and Mrs. G. R. Monteith. Mrs. Monteith wore black silk romaine with floral coatee. The ladies on the committee were Mrs. C. Mansfield, Miss G. Brennand, Miss A. Levick, Miss W. Dorrington, Miss P. Hatfull. : The chaperonec for the evening were Sister Emily, Mrs. Robinson, Mrs. Brennand, Mrs. Simmons, Mrs. Ryan and Mrs. Green. Among those present were: Mesdames S. Kendall, A. Levick, A. Clarke, L. Stein, P. Johns. Misses J. Levick, J. King, M. Kendall, N. Smithe, E. Golder, G. Knight, T. Watkins, F. Stott, C. Russell, R. McDonald, V. Stacpoole, K. Dorrington, J. Brinkman, M. Taylor, M. Stewart, J. Johnston, G. Hodder, W. McMechan. F. Gasgoine, E. McDougall, P. Hutchions. I. Newing. J. Newing, J. iFahey, H. Eagleson, A. Green. A. Scott, !C Scott, L^ Dunham, O. Larkin, K.
