Dean Fancourt
the hymn, "0 God Our Help in Ages Past," was sung. The dean referred to the power of prayer, and its effect on individuals, • when urged by a Christian people.
At St. David's Presbyterian Church, the Rev. W. Bower Black said that throughout the world people were united in intercession for a distracted and warridden world, and prayed that the King of Kings, and Lords or Lords would touch with the illumination of His Holy Spirit the hearts of all who held sway over the lives and destinies of people, make clear the issues of critical days, and provide inspiration and guidance. It was hoped that nations would build their kingdoms upon righteousness, Godliness and truth.
