He won the recent Great Northern Hurdles at Ellerslie, then went on to win the Wellington Steeplechase, finally capturing the principal steeplechase on the concluding day of the Grand National meeting. Electric Flash follows Erination here at the last hurdle, but she was beaten in the run to the judge for second place by Simint, No. 3.
