EMERGENCY DECREES.
Suspension of Immunity from Warrantless Arrest. MOVE BY CZECHS. (Received 2 p.m.) PRAGUE, September 18. Emergency decrees suspend immunity from arrest without warrant, inviolability of the private house, mail, or secrecy of the Press. They also give liberty to empower confinement in fixed areas and censorship. Herr Henlein's followers who returned from Germany gave themselves up to the police, declaring that the alternative to forced labour on German fortifications was internment in a concentration camp. MOTHERS APPLAUD. CHAMBERLAIN'S MISSION: (Received 1.30 p.m.) PARIS, September 18. Mothers are circulating and urging newspapers to publish lists for the signature of all mothers, thanking Mr. Chamberlain for his peace intervention and urging him to pursue his noble task. FOR MILITARY DUTY. TENNIS PLAYERS RETURN. NEW YORK, September 18. The French tennis players in the United States received cabled orders to return immediately for military duty, and will sail to-day. They have cancelled their visit to the Pacific coast with the Australian team. Brugnon and Petra are officers, but the youthful Destremau has not jet commenced training. The German team sailed on Friday.
