Mail Bags Stolen from Mount
Isa Train.

BRISBANE, this day,
Francis Walsh, a railway guard, has been charged with having stolen mail bags containing £3000. He was remanded.
Two mail bags containing £3000 in banknotes were stolen from the Mount Isa train near Cloncurry at the end of last month. The money was the pay for the miners at the local mines.
