The official Czech news agency issued the following statement: "Proceedings have been instituted against Herr Henlein under paragraphs one and three of the law for protection of the Republic which deals with threats and attempts against the security of the State. The report that a warrant was issued for the arrest of Herr Henlein is untrue.
It was earlier officially stated at Prague that a warrant for HerT Henlein was circulated to the police throughout the world. Shortly after 11 a.m. a German station broadcast that Herr Henlein and other leaders had left Czechoslovakia within the last few hours.
The Bohemian Government ordered the population of 63 German and mixed German districts to surrender arms within 24 hours. Two Czech soldiers are reported to have been killed at Butzenguen.
