WEAKER TENDENCY.
SMITHFIELD LAMB TRADE. There is a weaker tendency in lambs on the Smithfield market, trade being slow, according to the Bank of New Zealand's weekly cable dispatched yesterday from London. Wethers are quiet and unchanged and ewes slow. Prices now ruling are compared with those of last week and a year ago in the following table:— Sept. 10. Sept. 9. Year ago.
