WELLINGTON, Friday
A Rhodes Scholar selected from Otago University in 1935, Mr. L. F. Moller returned to New Zealand to-day, having taken the degree of Bachelor in Civil Law at Oxford in his second year, after which he has been writing a thesis on public policy in private international law for the degree of Bachelor of Literature. He has not yet received the result.
Mr. Moller travelled in Russia, Germany, Italy arid France. He said he was rather disappointed in Russia, where it seemed that the organisation of the country was splendid, but the inhabitants were not taking advantage of the opportunities. It would take time to give them a widened and comprehensive outlook. He would much rather have the opportunities of the German people. Mr. Moller intends to remain in NewZealand.
