CROQUET CLUB.

Remuera.—The members of the Remuera Croquet Club held the final of their -winter bridge afternoons this week. Beautiful daffodile from Mrs. Gibson's garden at Mangere and quantities of primroses from the garden of Mrs. Lusher, Market Road, transformed the pavilion into a flower show. The guests were received by Mrs. J. Jarvie, the president, who was ably assisted by Mrs. Cross, the acting-secretary. Mrs. R. Lusher, Mrs. Cross, Mrs. F. Wilson and Miss Terry were the hostesses for the afternoon. Mrs. H. Watte, the secretary, was welcomed back after her recent illness. riayers taking part were: Mesdames A. Garrard, J. Torrence, D.
