TRAIL OF THEFTS.
MAORIS ADMIT 22 CHARGES

MASTERTOX, Friday.
At the Magistrate's Court to-day Hawea Governor and Joseph Uru, Maori labourers, pleaded guilty to 22 charges of breaking and entering. Goods were stolen at Hamua. Pahiatua, Woodville, Clareville and Masterton, to the total value of over £118. Both the accused pleaded guilty, and were committed to the Wellington Supreme Court for sentence. On six further charge of theft L'ru and Governor were remanded to appear on October 14 in Wellington.
