CYCLISTS INJURED.
THREE GISBORNE ACCIDENTS.

GISBORNE, Friday. Two women, both of whom are in hospital, and a l>oy, all cyclists, were injured in accidents to-day. A young Maori woman, Miss Wilson, riding from a side road on to the highway at Manutuke, wjw struck by a car driven by Mr. Carl Edward Larsen, of Carterton, Wairarapa Boxing Association delegate, but her injuries were disclosed in hospital to be not serious.
The second case was that of Miss Marie Burton, whose wheel skidded on the steep camber of a road, causing her to fall, striking her head heavily on the roadway. She suffered concussion.
A fourteen-year-old boy, Brian Richardson, collided with the rear of a motorlorry in town, and suffered a cut head, but after receiving attention he was able to go home.
