WORK IN NEW ZEALAND.
RECRUITS FOR AFRICA.
1 lie work of the Xew Zealand Council of the \\ orld-W ide Evangelisation Crusade, founded by the late C. T. Studd. was discussed at a meeting held at the Missionary Association rooms last evening. The Dominion president, the Rev. A. S. Wilson, was in the chair.
Confirmation was given of the acceptance, for work in Western t\frica, of Mr. J. Daiey, of the Auckland University Evangelical Union, and of Mr. and Mrs. Johnston Freeman, of Nelson, both graduates of the Bible Training Institute.
It was announced by the secretary. Mr. C. W. (larksoti, that Mr. Xornian <»rubb. the chief London director, had agreed to tour Australia and Xew Zealand. Mr. Grubb was widely known as an author and lecturer, he said. and was at present visitiny churches and universities of the United States. Mr. Grubb will make arrangements for a permanent representative of the crusade to live in Australia or Xew Zealand. The latest development. it was reported, was 'the decision to gather a fresh batch of 75 recruits for work on the eleven frontiers of the society's operations, including that among the out-castes of India. Several had been accepted for training already. The Rev. J. D. Jensen wa6 elected a member of th% council.
