WORKMAN INJURED
FAIX TO CONCRETE FLOOR. (By Telegcaph.—Own Correspondent.) THAMES, this day. Mr. John Knowles, aged 30, a workman employed at dismantling the Moanataiari battery, yesterday afternoon, fell from the upper portion of the building to a concrete floor and suffered concussion and injuries to the body. Mr. Knowles' was removed t< hospital and it was reported this morn ing that he was progressing favourably.
