BILLIARDS.
The Auckland open billiards championship was continued last night, the contestants being M. D. White and W. Hackett. The game was even at the start, but White assumed the lead with breaks of 53, 48 and 37. The final scores were:—White 500, Hackett 350. R. Carrick will play J. J. Shepherd this evening in the first semi-final at 7.45 o'clock.
