TO-MORROW'S GAMES.
MANUKAU PLAY RICHMOND. ! CARLAW PARK MATCHES. With two teams in the lead, Mount Albeit and Marist, and other teams within striking distance, the Auckland Rugby League's senior championship is in a very open state, and considerable interest attaches to the matches which will be played to-morrow at Carlaw Park. Pride of place has been given to the match between Manukau and Richmond, and with both teams again at full strength following the return of players from the Australian tour, a very close contest is expected. Both teams are capable of good team play, and there should be little between them. Newton have been drawn to meet Ponsonby in the earlier match on the Xo. 1 ground, and two well-matched teams should take the field. Both teams play open football, and the former team last Saturday played at Christchurch. On the Xo. 2 ground City will meet Marist, and on recent form the latter should be able to maintain their position i as one of the leading teams. North Shore have been drawn to meet Papakura, and it is likely that the former will win, although the suburban team has been putting up good exhibitions in recent matches. Mount Albert have the bye, and will play Bay of Plenty at Rotorua, where the game has been revived this season. The teams are:— MARIST OLD BOYS. Senior. —Glover, Mldgely. Haslam, Matthews, Chalmers.
