FIFTH GAME OF TOUR. QUEENSLAND ENGAGEMENT. STATE HAS NEVER BEATEN N.Z. BRISBANE, July 28. Although they have played four matches the All Blacks arrived here to-day without any serious casualties. The managers stated!-that the team was looking forward to the match against Queensland's best. After a rousing reception at the railway station the team went to its hotel and then-had a training run. The All Blacks have chosen practically a Test side for Saturday's matcih. The teams are:— NEW ZEALAND. Full-back: Taylor. Three-quarters: Morrison, Mitchell Wright. ..'■-. Five-eighths. Sullivan, Berghan. Half-back: Saxton. Forwards: Quaid, Lambourn, Dalton, Milliken, King, Bowman, McKenzie, Parkhill. Reserves: Griffiths, Hooper, Jackson. Wynyard. QUEENSLAND. Full-bax-k: Walker. Three-quarters: Howard, Lewis, Hayes, Five-eighths: Salter, Ide. Half-back: Schulte. Forwards: Bermingham, Bonis, Gibbs : Wilson, Cooke, Oxlade, Monti, McDonald, Reserves: Watson, Jones, Rodger Nicholson, Eason. Result* of matches playqi between New Zealand and Queensland (all at Brisbane, except 1896): — 1893: N.Z. won 14—3 and 36—0. 1896: N.Z. won 9—o, at Wellington, Auckland was represented by F. Surman (captain of the N.S.W.. tessn which toured the Dominion in 1891) and R. Oliphant. One of Canterbury's players was H. Frost, now president of the A.R.F.U, 1897: N.Z. won 16—5 and 24—6. 1903: N.Z. won 17—0 and 28—0. 1907: N.Z. won 23—3 and 17—11. F. C Fryer, the well-known golfer, playing al wing-threequarter, scored all five tries in the second game, after ringing on foui in the first match. d 910: N.Z. won 19—15 and 21—3. 1914: N.Z. won 26—5 and 19-0. 1929: N.Z. won 27—0. 1932: N.Z. won 28—3. 1934: N.Z. won 31—14.
