HANDLING OF FOOD.
EDUCATIONAL CAMPAIGN. SANITARY INSPECTORS' PLAN. Plans for a campaign to educate the public in hygienic ways of handling foods were formed when the Auckland centre of the New Zealand Association of Sanitary Inspectors held its bi-monthly meeting last night. Mr. A. Paull presided.
The subject for discussion was "The Handling of Foodstuffs." Following expression of opinion by members regarding the correct way to handle bread, meat, fish and other foods, a sub-com-mittee was appointed to act in conjunction with the Medical Officer of Health in the inauguration of the educational campaign.
