MAUNGANUI FROM ISLANDS.

HEAVY GALE YESTERDAY.

After a three weeks' cruise of more than 5000 miles to the Society Islands, Samoa and Tonga with a party -of 250 tourists, the Maunganui returned to Auckland this morning and berthed at Prince's wharf shortly affreight o'clock.
