BISHOPS PROPOSAL.
INTEREST IN AUSTRALIA.
SYDNEY, July 17. Bishop Cherrington's proposal for the admission of Japanese immigrants to New Zealand and Australia has created a good deal of interest in Australia, but so far there has been no official or newspaper comment on the subject.
