Ambulance Man With Revolver Near Mr. Roosevelt. PRESIDENT'S FISHING TRIP. (Received 10 a.m.) SANTA ANA (Cal.), July 17. William Bond, aged 60 an ambulance ' ■ervice operator, was arrested this afternoon when a loaded revolver was found in his pocket after he had insisted 1 on passing through the police lines in or«£ to shake hands with Mr. Roosevelt? while the President was lunching in a public park. He was later * released, the officials terming him harmless. He tried to use a Pasadena I police sheriff's credentials. Mr. Roosevelt finished his meal un-1 aware of the incident. He is sailing this evening aboard the cruiser Houston for some leisurely fishing off the coast. of Mexico and Central America, including in hi 9 trip the Galapagos and Cocoa ! Isles, after which he will pass through ' the Panama Canal and return to the United States on August 9. ✓
