DAISY CHAIN CLUB.
DANCING AND CARDS.
The Daisy Chain Club held their second monthly dance of the season in the Patrician Rooms. The conveners of the event were the ladies of the social committee, comprised of Mesdames Barfoot, Duplauties, McKinnon and G. Orrell. Good dance music was played by Mrs. Ivy Dye with Don Robertson at the drums. • .
A Monte Carlo waltz was won by Miss Streeter and Mr. Grocott and a spot waltz by Miss B. Barfoot and Mr. Brooks. Ladies' and gentlemen's lucky numbers were won by Miss Jean Wilson and Mr. H. Barfoot and a novelty prize by Mrs. Ivy Dye. Mrs. Skinner'played the extra supper waltz. The winners of the 500 card tournament organised bv Mrs. Barfoot, were Mrs. Browster and Mr. Hudson.
