GASTRIC INFLUENZA. Will be Confined to Bed for a Day or Two. MILD ATTACK ONLY. United Press Association.—Copyright. (Received 11.30 a.m.) LONDON, July 10. An official report states that His Majesty King George is suffering from a mild attack of gastric influenza, necessitating rest, pending his French visit. The King has a slight temperature and stayed in bed to day. He will remain there a day or two.
It is understood the prospects of his visiting France are excellent. His medical consultants are Lord Dawson of Penn and Sir John Weir.
