SCOUTS’ VENTURE.
Attempt to Reach Scotland For Jamboree. BY YAWL FROM SYDNEY. (Received 11 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. Three Rover Scouts, who hope to reach Scotland in time to attend the world jamboree there next year, sailed from Sydney in the 50ft yawl Zjawa 111. The first port of call will be Koepang. The owner and skipper of the craft is a Pole, Wladyslaw Wagnel, aged 25. His companions are Sydney Smith, aged 24, and David Walsh, aged 25, of Sydney, neither of whom have been to sea before.
