Sir Krnest Davis, he visited the Auckland Working Men's Club, with the Mayor, and was heartily welcomed by 300 members. In the evening his first engagement was at the social and dance of the <;rey Lynn branch of the party, and from there he went to the professional wrestling contest at the Town Hall, fidlowing which he met over .">OO meml»ers of the Labour Representation Committee and the Labour Club at their weekly social gathering. At each place be was given an ovation. With the T?rime Minister on his evening round of engagements were Mr. J. A. Lee. TTnder-Seeretary in Charge of Housing, and the Hon. D. Wilson. When he left for Wellington by the Limited express last evening, Mr. Savage was farewelled by a large crowd at the. station. Tie Ponsonby Boys' Band was in attend***, and the Prime Minister thanked the conductor and members for their musical programme.
