FOR U.S. CHAMPION. MISS H. JACOBS DEFEATED. LONDON', July 2. The final of the women's singles at the Wimbledon tennis tournament to-day was won by Mrs. Heien Wills-Moody (United States), who defeated her compatriot, Miss Helen Jacobs, 6 -4, 6-0.

Final: Mrs. Fahyan and Miss Marble (U.S.A.I beat Madame Mathieu and Miss Yorke. 0- 2, 6—3. COMBINED DOUBLES. Final: Budge and Miss Marble beat Heukel and Mrs. Fain an, 6—l, 6 4.
AUSTRALIAN TITLE. CRAWFORD BEATS McGRATH. SYDXEY, July 3. Tn the final of the men's singles at the Australian hard court championship tournament, J. Crawford beat V. McGrath, 2-6, 3—6, 6—2, 6-2, 6—l.
