HOSPITAL MATRON.
WHAKATANE APPOINTMENT. Miss Mary (Mollie) Gribben, of the nursing staff of the Whangarei Public Hospital, has been appointed matron of the public hospital at Whakatane, and is expected to take up the duties on August 1. Miss Gribben was formerly a pupil of the Knrthcote District School and of the Auckland Girls' Grammar School.
