Fascist Officials Undergo Hard
Athletic Tests.
SIGNOR MUSSOLINI LOOKS ON,
(Received 10 a.m.) ROME, July 3. Out of 64 high Fascist directors, only Signor Starace, secretary of the party, and seven others passed all their athletic tests.
The hardest events, which were performed before Signor Mussolini, included vaulting over a row of upright bayonets, jumping from a springboard through a blazing hoop %nd vaulting over a war tank.
Most of the entrants completed four out of the seven tests, but 13 completely failed.
