PREVENTING CLASHING.
AGRICULTURAL SHOW SATES.

WELLINGTON, Friday,
A meeting of the executive committee of the Royal Agricultural Society was held at Palmerston North this evening to consider the clashing of show dates. Tt was decided to recommend the council of the society to allocate dates as follows:—Palmerston North, November 3, 4 and 5; Wanganui. November 8 and 9; Kgmont. November 11 and 12; Stratford, November 18 and 10.
It was decided that because of strong protests concerning the clashing of the Wairarapa Show and the Royal Show at Hamilton, the Hawke's Bay society lie asked to hold its show a week earlier.
