HEIFER'S SUDDEN ATTACK.
Attacked and badlj gored by a heifer at the Papakura dairy sale yesterday, a drover, Mr. Thomas Cook Paton, of Great South Road, Papakura, suffered severe internal injuries. His condition is not serious.
Mr. Paton, who is employed by the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, had just entered the ring when the heifer, without warning, knocked him against the side of the enclosure a:ul go led him in the groin. He was taken to the Auckland HospitfL _
