DOG COLLECTOR.
The funds of the New Lynn veterinary hospital of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals have benefited from time to time by collections made by a cocker spaniel owned by Miss M. H. Caulfteld. As a result, a heating plant and coal and coke have been purchased and the plant has l>een installed in the cat house at the hospital.
