PAN MURE BOATING CLUB.

TWENTY-SIXTH ANNUAL PRIZE NIGHT. The Panmure Tacht and Boating Club held the twenty-sixth annual presentation of prizes in St. Mary's Hall on Wednesday evening, in the presence of a good attendance of members and their lady friends. The visitors included representatives of sister clubs from Otnhuhu, Manukau and Auckland. The trophies were displayed on the stage and included several cups and useful articles, while over £20 was paid In cash.

The commodore, Mr. S. Wils«on, welcomed the visitors and thanked the members and patrons for their continued support. He specially thanked Mr. S. Hamlin, honorary secretary and treasurer for about nr> years, for his work on behalf of the club, also Messrs. V. Hill (vice-commodore), L. I'ilkington (rear-commodore). V. During tlie past season. Mr. Wilkin said, 14 course and two cruising races were held, all being well contested. The club's regatta was successful, the yacht* being divided into two classes. The clubhouse needed attention, and the committee had decided to hold a series of dance? to r;iise funds for effecting improvements. Mr. Wilson requested the president, Mr. Rotliery, to make the presentations.

Muncaster'B Ivy 1, Mr. R. lime's Kllenette 2. Fifth race; Mr. A. Arlington's Zephyr 1, Miss Jocelyn Wilkie's lolantlie 2 : Sixth race: Miss Jocelyn Wilkie's lolantlie l. Zephyr 2. Sixteenth race : Vailua 1. Wlianui 2.

Champion flaps were won by Messrs. Hewitt and I.eifrliton's Vailua for 14ft and by Mr. (J. Aldiss' Merry Jest for over 14ft. Mr. Ald ins nlso won the R. E. Fenton memorial cup and miniature. The W. R. Kav memorial shield and miniature were won by Mr. T. Pilkington's Namu, ami Mr. Kothory requested Mrs. Kay to make the presentation. The club cup for highest points in the season was won by Miss Jocelyn Wilkie's lolanthe, with 43 points. Merry Jest (37 points) and Sylvia (30 points) being next best. After supper dancing was continued till midnight, Messrs. Kric Aldiss and W. Leighton being masters of ceremonies.
