The markets are still weak, however. Business at the morning call was mostly in Australian securities. Oil shares continued to fall, Taranakis losing another 6d to sell at 13 (5. with more' Fellers at the same figure. Buyers offered 3d less. Motnroas were active at 6/. Tiie rise in National £.;:iks was reflected in a late sale yesterday at £2 15'. showing ar. advance of 3/ over the past fortnight. Other bank shares were little altered, though New Zealands had firmer buyers at £2 3 3 and sellers 3d higher.
